Well the decision has been made. In a very short period of time this blog will be going offline. I have decided to go in a different direction with my crafts and my home business.

So thanks to all who have visited me on a regular basis and thank you to all who have purchased items from this site. I’m still around and can be found over at http://life-with-kim.com I look forward to seeing you all over there. I will still be selling my crafts, but it will be from that site only.

It’s been a while

Sorry guys! It’s been quite a long time since I’ve been in here to post. Real life has gotten in the way. I have been working a lot, getting ready for Christmas and have been sick for well over a month. I haven’t even looked at my crafts lately so I haven’t had a lot of things to report.

I have a few decisions to make about this blog and I plan on making these decisions in the new year. Until then I probably won’t be in here very much.

So until next time. I really hope you all have a wonderful new year and hopefully things will calm down a bit for me so I can post a bit more frequently.

Possible earrings for sale

Ever since I started creating jewelry almost a year ago, I have never been able to figure out how to make earrings. I have tried and tried to make them, but have not had any success. I have even watched tutorials on the Internet and this hasn’t helped me either. Well today I stopped into the new bead store that just opened up and was talking to the owner. After I had made a few purchases she then offered to help me out with anything I may need in the future. So I took a chance and asked her to explain to me the easiest way to make earrings. Not only did she explain the process to me, but she showed me how to make an earring right on the spot. After watching her make the earring, I am feeling more confident about being able to make earrings for my jewelry sets. So later on today (or tomorrow) I’m going to try to make a pair of earrings the way she showed me.

Wish me luck! Hopefully I’ll be able to post that I’ve mastered the art of making earrings and be able to post pictures of my finished products.

Been busy

As you can see I haven’t been in here in a while. Life has kind of gotten a little hectic and busy all of a sudden. The biggest news I have to report is that I went back to work. Selling my crafts and doing a little bit of paid blogging hasn’t really worked out very well so when I was offered my old job back I jumped at it. I’ve been back for a couple of weeks now so with that, the kids and looking after the house I haven’t been able to get very much else accomplished.

After I get my groove back I’m going to try to get back into the swing of things so hopefully soon you will see me back in here more often with more pictures and progress done on some crafts.

Back to crafting

Well now that the kids are finally back to school I have been able to start crafting once again. It’s a good thing to…I have some orders that I have to complete by Christmas so I really needed to get moving.

Right now the two main things that I have been working on is a family tree getting done for my friend. The family tree is made by cross stitching and it will take me a little while to get it done. Then I have a few orders for jewelry that have to be done for Christmas as well. So I will be busy for the next few months but at least when all this is done, I will have earned some extra cash.

Entrecard is back

For all you Entrecard people out there, you probably have noticed that the Entrecard is back! At the first of the month I got pretty discouraged with this site. In all honesty I thought by taking the Entrecard widget off this blog that it would help my site. I HONESTLY don’t have any clue why I came to this conclusion. So after monitoring this blog for the last three weeks, I have decided that utilizing Entrecard is way better than not using it.

So if your here from Entrecard then I say welcome back and I truly did miss you all. And I promise I’ll never ever do anything so silly ever again!!
