Redoing the blog
Although I set this blog up a few months back, I haven’t really done a whole lot to it. Yes, I post as much as I can about crafting on it and upload a few pictures, but somewhere along the line I lost the focus of this blog. The focus of this blog was to attract possible visitors and purchasers to this site to try to sell some of my homemade crafts. Well so far that hasn’t happened. So I have decided that I need to give this blog a make over and possibly get back on track.
So over the next few days you are going to see some changes going on around here. The template will stay the same as I really do like it. But I’m going to add separate pages for the different types of crafts I create. And I will be uploading a lot more pictures, descriptions and prices.
I am quite happy with my decision to do this blog make over and hopefully I don’t lose my focus again. When it’s all finished, I would love to know what you all think.

I’m not an expert when it comes to monetizing and optimizing a blog, but I think adding pictures of your products just below the title of your post would invite and let your readers stay longer. Adding alt tags to your images would also help your blog to be search easily in google and other search engines.
That is just my opinion and suggestion

I have found that a website’s layout definitely will affect how long readers stay and that, in turn, will affect your sales. Go all out, Kim…make it pretty and inviting and the buyers will come! I feel certain of it!
You go girl!
